I haven't listened to June Paik in ages! Used to love that band. Good stuff No one really knows of them! It's crazy because I know they've played even in the states, such a good band though.

Vapid may be the best recommendation in this thread.

I've tried twice now to listen to two different Vapid songs, still can't make it through a complete track.

Forgetters - Blake from Jawbreaker's first vinyl release since the last jets to brazil record. Overall a much more simple sound than he's ever done. "Vampire Lessons" is one of my favorite songs he's written. Probably the most consistent of the long-run west coast punks. www.mediafire.com/?d2s5a2wj2y6i3ddthis also came out 20 years after "Unfun". Think about that.

lunchbox has copies. it's a double 7".
It's also refreshing to buy a record and get to see lyrics. I was trying to think of a more consistent old-punk and I can only think of one or two

Masakari- The Prophet Feeds If you like modern crust like from ashes rise and tragedy, but wish it was more in your face and brutal, download this. Melodic-ish crust with some heavy fucking parts and blastbeats thrown in to make some songs fucking devestating. One of my favorite records right now. Rosetta/Balboa- Project Mercury This split is so good. If you haven't listened to Rosetta yet go ahead and download their entire discography. Its all on mediafire. They are the best band in "post-metal" right now in my opinion. Every release is unique but its all so good. Also they love space, and so do I. This record is more post-rock than their other releases but still really good. The balboa side is pretty good but doesn't compare at all. The last song on the record, both bands contributed to it and it fucking rules. get this. www.mediafire.com/?bwkmntd2qzz

Piano's Become The Teeth just did a split with The Saddest Landscape, each band has one song. I'm only digging Piano's, it's a bit different from Old Pride. www.mediafire.com/?y86uboqt870gi8w
