Adventureland. Really great movie from the director of Superbad. Really good soundtrack too with Replacements and Husker Du

i enjoyed adventureland, but if you go into it expecting something similar to superbad then you will be disappointed

Anything Kristen Stewart plays in is always awkward including Adventureland. I couldn't get into it. It was like a cross of Napoleon Dynamite with pure boring.
Snatch. Lock, Stock, and two smoking barrels. Rocknrolla. Layer Cake. The Crew.

Watched 'Salt' and 'Prince of Persia" tonight, both were good. Salt could have been better with the ending. About to watch 'Splice'. Maybe it'll be good.

I heard mixed reviews about Splice, most of them were bad though.

Splice was beyond shit. Watched Killers, it was ok. Going to watch The A Team tonight.

I like a good cheesy action movie every once in a while, and I was even bored with it.

I thought it was pretty awesome for a stupid macho action movie. Is anyone going to the Mixed Tape Film Series at the Carousel in Greensboro? They are playing tons of really rad movies every thursday. Big Lebowski is this week, next week is Breakfast club.

Pirahna 3D.
If you are a fan of cheesy gore films then this is the movie for you. I dont see why everyone has been shitting all over this movie. It is a fun flick to watch and is more "so bad it's good" then anything.

Bumping this. Just saw Machete last night. It was as badass as I was expecting and hoping for. Go see it if you dig grindhouse style films.

I need to see it, looks beyond awesome.
Also, saw The Expendables, I was shocked at how bad it was. The characters, the idea of it, and the actors had me hoping for something awesome. I don't know how they made enough money off it to make a second one.

Few quick reviews I guess.
Scott Pilgrim vs the World ruled. Very fun and creative (also probably the most faithful comic book movie next to Sin City). Edgar Wright can do no wrong.
Piranha 3D was a lot of fun, though it's always odd to see big films that are self-aware that they're bad. <3 Kelly Brook too much
Batman: Under the Red Hood was pretty righteous. Jon DiMaggio can pull off a creepy joker.
Harry Brown was really good until the 3rd act. Just got a little too hokey, even for a "revenge" movie, with a twist that was more "really?" than "whoa." Michael Caine was absolutely great though.
