When I first heard them I wrote them off as an Explosions rip-off (mostly just because they're from the same town I think), but they do their own simple post-rock thing. I like them alot.

i think they are better than explosions. i only have the young mountain ep though, but its soo good Oof, I personally wouldn't go that far, but I enjoy TWDY a lot. I did not dig the self-titled at all when I first got it. On first listen it was monotonous, drawn out, and it seemed like they ran out of ideas. I've come to really appreciate it now though. I still think The Earth Is Not A Cold, Dead Place tops anything TWDY can do.

Right now I have on The Jags - No Tie Like A Present. I think it's only worth noting due to the horrible album title which I'm assuming is supposed to be a play off of No Time Like the Present. I Never Was A Beachboy is a really good song. If you like stuff like the boomtown rats and elvis costello's poppier songs you might be into this. Not ground breaking or amazing but it's catchy and worth listening if you like new wavish stuff.
