Intentionally listening to music that is devoid of the elements of music you enjoy seems entirely counter productive to me.

Seeing how I said bands I come across, i.e. I see a band and give it a listen, I'm not intentionally listening to it for the fact that I think it's garbage. How many bands have you never heard and listened to that sucked? Read the entirety of something before attacking.

Umm... Green Swamp.
A bunch of kids from Shallotte (really small rural town outside of Wilmington) who show up to shows spitting dip on the venue floor and then punch girls doing stupid hardcore dances.

sometimes i listen to a band that alot of people rave on and on about and i never fucking understand how anyone can like these bands... but i wont list them, because pretty much the only shitty bands that anyone needs to be wary of is Aerosmith, Panic At The Disco and Drug Cult.
