Just woke up. Nothing to do, so I think I'll watch Cannibal Holocaust.

I didn't mean it was that bad, I meant that it was a precursor and gateway to other disturbing films. Still watch Monde Cane, its about 20 years older than Cannibal Holocaust.

The Human Centipede was WAY too hyped up for how mediocre it is. I mean, I like it, but I like really bad movies. You have to keep in mind that they made this film with the intention of every aspect being physically possible, so granted this also takes away from the disturbing factor on a visual level. Also, this film is presented as a mainstream production for the most part.(IE you could most likely rent this at most video stores) So for a mainstream film I think this is quite disturbing, all things considered. The human centipede has probably fucked up a few "normal" people's evening of movie watching. I feel like they called a doctor and asked, "Hey, can you sew an asshole and a mouth together?"... and since the doctor said "Yeah, I guess". they marketed "100 surgically accurate."

I finally watched The Human Centipede yesterday. I guess it was meant to be disturbing on different levels and not just gore. Either way, I didn't think it was that great.

has anyone mentioned family portraits: trilogy of america? the first part "cutting moments" is sickening on so many levels. and the gore is outstanding.
aftermath is some seriously disturbing shit as well if you watch it in the right context.. otherwise it's just some of the most impressive gore that you'll ever see.

find the documentary "Stevie". i assure you that it's more disturbing than any film on this thread.
also, all of the jacopetti "documentaries" should have at least one scene that will produce a squirm in anyone with a pulse.
and the dog straw film that sam and godfrey showed me one evening... can't forget that.
...can't.

I think other than the camera man, woman, and that poor dog, we are the only people that have ever watched that in its entirety. Also lets not forget Sick: Supermasochist, that movie was incredibly sad for me. Godspeed, Bob Flanagan.

I am trying to recall the title of a film I watched many years ago, this was an asian film (Japanese I believe) in which a little boy is lost and abandoned by his mother and some how along the way in searching for her he makes accomplices with a rather silly older man and then the rest of the movie is basically them walking around getting into shenanigans. Anyone seen this? Pleassseee its driving me crazy.

I think you are referring to the last scene of cutting moments, the first one is that stupid ass story about the crack head dog with a mohawk.

Not even close, but if you like larry clark films check out "Bully". Its in the same vein as Ken Park and Kids.

My favorite Harmony Korine movie has to be Julian Donkey-Boy. I also love that the writer is credited no where on the film or the movie box.

Bully rules. They have a different cover for Ken Park too. It still has a naked girl on the front though.

wassup rockers was actually pretty boring agreed. slightly unrelated: when I went out to my car yesterday there was a fox hanging out beside it eating a bird. I freaked out for a minute when it looked at me because I imagined it saying "Chaos Reigns" If you dont know what I'm talking about, its the cheesiest/best part of the movie Antichrist. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vmn9asN-8AE&feature=related
