if you're not into building your own pedal cases, i really have to recommend purchasing something from here: www.rondomusic.com/pedalcases.htmla few of us here on the forum have used these and even though mine currently holds my porn collection since i dont really use pedals live anymore, i dont think you'll meet anyone who has anything bad to say about them. especially for the price.

I was selling one of these actually. I think Mike Rich might be buying it, but if not, Randy is holding it for me. He could sell it to you since I'm moving Tuesday

yeah those are fine as long as you arent getting one of the bigger ones. Im currently using a PDC-410H, its packed completely full of pedals, and sometimes the weight of all the pedals causes it to kindof pop out around the handle when im carrying it. it stays together, its just obviously not top quality. but if you are getting one of the 410G cases or smaller it should be fine. or if you arent shoving huge amounts of pedal into it like i am...

yeah those are fine as long as you arent getting one of the bigger ones. Im currently using a PDC-410H, its packed completely full of pedals, and sometimes the weight of all the pedals causes it to kindof pop out around the handle when im carrying it. it stays together, its just obviously not top quality. but if you are getting one of the 410G cases or smaller it should be fine. or if you arent shoving huge amounts of pedal into it like i am... i succeeded in this by using an old chipboard bass case. pulled out the stapled "neck and body mounts" and stripped all the fur lining out and lined the bottom with velcro. then i realized i was losing an insane amount of tone even with 90% true bypass pedals. sure theres signal boosters but thats just ANOTHER pedal and usually changes how all the pedals in front of it sound. my advice is to get a small suitcase from goodwill and find three or four pedals you just cant live without. that way, you still keep a powerful signal, you maintain more of your true signal, and you can swap pedals out for other ones in order to allow for more creative instances when playing live or jamming with others. plus its less of a back breaker, but hell what do i know, my rig went from a 2 - 4x12 cab and 120w head and 10-12 pedals, slowly down to a 1x12 [sometimes a 2x12] set up with a 30 watt class A head with 1 - 3 pedals at one time. i wouldnt change my tone now for the world. unless it was to add a second amp and cab to be able to play in stereo, which currently sounds amazing in my bed room
