Sunn Model T. 1978. Red knob. In really awesome condition. Still even has the original "caution high voltage" stickers on it from original production. The loudest amp on the face of the planet. I'm completely on the fence about selling this, so... serious inquiries only. I'm considering all SERIOUS offers.

Why are you selling this? I'm thinking about buying a more versatile amp that will take my distortion pedals better.

Levi - The amp drives amazing. When I say "take my distortion pedals better" I mean I want distortion and overdrive and to be able to control my feedback at the same time. The Model T makes it out of control... (think Grids, of course)
Dustin - $1,500
Also, there is a current bid for a 1974 model t on E-bay right now going for $2,500 that still has a day and a half left on it.

The Model T makes it out of control... (think Grids, of course) This is the exact issue I've been having with my VTM. The feedback is out of hand. If I let a chord ring out, it decays into harmonic feedback (which is good) for a few seconds but then it's taken over by the squeeeeeeeeeeee bullshit. And I just retubed it. So frustrating.

Yeah, I love noise but only when I am in control. The Model T sounded really awesome at the last show I played though, so I might end up keeping it. Fuck... I might even do the unthinkable... and buy a noise suppressor pedal.

I must say, your guitar tone was the best I have ever heard it at the last show.

1500 is more than fair for this. I don't need another one, but someone should really jump on this.

Fuck... I might even do the unthinkable... and buy a noise suppressor pedal. Unless you desperately need money, i say do this and hang on to it. I regret every amp ive ever sold.

Also another interesting thing about this amp: I bought this a couple years from a guy way out in the sticks past Concord/Mt. Pleasant area. He said it was sitting in his climate controlled warehouse for 18 years untouched. When I went to his house to play it he had it sitting on top of a really rare Acoustic Control 4x15 cabinet.

Any clue what you would rather have? I've encountered a number of model-t's and in almost every case they have been retired from road use and kept in a studio only type of environment. Definitely a classic collectible amp. Dont sell!!!! On a side note, I've been using Splawn amps for about 7 years (??) now (mine is Splawn amp #30) and couldnt be happier. Although, I do own a shit ton of amps and have to maintain a shitload more, I have always thought my pro-mod was one of the best sounding tools I've ever owned...and I have never ever owned a noise-suppresor or any type of gating unit...

Goddamn, I want that cab. It was ridiculous. Gus bought it and played it in Grids for awhile. Any clue what you would rather have? What I really want is a vintage Gibson RD Artist. As far as amps... I'd get another Coliseum Lead.
