The Fool's Progress by Edward Abbey Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy The Border Trilogy by Cormac McCarthy (some of it takes place in Mexico) A Happy Death by Albert Camus (call me a hipster for liking Camus, but this book rules. Some of it takes place on a beach) Keep the Aspidistra Flying by Orwell Anything by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
I'm into reading something that matches the landscape I am in at the time.

"Tao Te Ching"-Lao Tzu "First and Last Freedom"-Jiddu Krishnamurti "The ph Miracle"-Dr. Robert Young "Wisdom of the Ancients- A dictionary of the occult"-Lobsang Rampa "Matrix III, Volume One: The Psycho-Social, Chemical, Biological and Electromagnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness"-Valdamar Valerian--(Kinda tough to come across this one, but should be easy to download, and although I do not agree with every thing this man says,it's definitely an insane read for sure.

Arthur C Clarke - Rendezvous with Rama 2001 a space odyssey (2 of my favorite books of all time. Really imaginative sci fi
Stephen King - the gunslinger/dark tower series (more really weird sci fi/ fantasy)

i just read the gunslinger so im definitely going to continue with that series. i dont like reading a series straight in a row though because sometimes i can get bored, so i mix it up with other books in between

I would read the Hunger Games, because it was a really good book and I would imagine is a pretty decent movie.

Last Exit to Brooklyn by Huebert Selby Jr or if you just want a really easy funny read get Youth In Revolt by C.D. Payne, its way better than the movie.

I would read the Hunger Games, because it was a really good book and I would imagine is a pretty decent movie. im starting the third one tomorrow as soon as i finish the book im on. its definitely interesting but holy shit it gets annoying to have the author point everything out to the reader. i just have to keep reminding myself it was written for 16 year-olds. thanks for all of the recommendations everyone im going to start downloading some shit for my kindle in a little
