im so awful at shooter games. its not even fun for me when i get killed 10 times before i even catch a glimpse of the person that is doing it. fighting games however...im good at that shit i love dying in halo. take one for the team but weaken like four dudes so the remaining three guys on my team can kill them all easily. 4 - 1 rinse and repeat.

GTA4 was the biggest let down ever for me. But that new expansion looks so awesome. it was a let down because you liked san andreas didn't you? if you answered yes, just download san andreas. the new expansion is for true bad asses only. it so much harder and the missions aren't the same shit over and over again

I was tempted to download San Andreas, but decided not to. And now I'm tempted to download the expansion but I'm not sure if it's worth it. How much does the expansion add? How long is the story to it or whatever?

its a completely different storyline, kinda, niko makes an appearance or two. if you're really good at grand theft auto games you can beat the main story in about 7 hours. but thats only if you don't fail any missions. and this is the first time i've ever played a GTA game where i actually had to plan some kind of strategy to win any missions. like for real. if you hate the way GTA plays, don't get the expansion, but if you are looking for a challenge, get it. its only 20 bucks and the bike races and extra online games are well worth it by themselves.

How long is the story to it or whatever? Its kind of like Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories for the PSP. It is basically its own game that happens around the same time period as GTA IV.

At the same time though, I dont hate the game. Mainly because of the graphic overhaul and little things with the physics. Things like how you can just shove people now and you will see them roll down a flight of stairs, or how people drop stuff when you run past and bump into them on the street. I also love how people try and hang onto their cars after you steal it and try and drive off.

I ended up buy The Lost and Damned today. I've only played like two missions, but fuck were they awesome. And the leader of the gang is one of the most badass video game characters I've seen in a while.

So, I hear the GTA 4 expansion has full frontal male nudity in it. Is the media overreacting as usual or is it actually there? Because usually people freak out and overreact over shit like that....for example the whole supposed "GRAPHIC AND EXPLICIT" sex scene in Mass Effect even though I have seen softcore porn that was more explicit and graphic.

Just beat Call of Duty: WaW a few minutes ago, sick ending, liked CoD:4's ending better though. Time for some multiplayer.

street fighter 4 is the hardest fighting game i've ever played in my life.
EVEN MORE FUN THAN THE OLD SCHOOL VERSION, ALMOST NO DIFFERENT
but the difficulty is on easy and neither me nor dj can even put a dent in it.
the moves are easy as fuck to pull off but the game is just too fucking hard.
reminds me of the old days for sure
also, need for speed undercover is the best need for speed game ever
even the soundtrack kicks ass.
anyone want a copy of final fantasy XI for xbox 360? like seriously, you can HAVE it. i'm seriously tired of looking at it and i'm about to just throw it in the trash

also Halo Wars is the most boring game i've ever played. stick to civilization and the new command and conquer if you dig real time strategy games at all
does anyone play/played phantasy star universe?

I would take the FFXI off your hands but I thought it blew ass. Wanting another FF game like FFX. Good god that game was fucking amazing.

FFXI does blow ass. its not really even a true FF game if you ask me. yeah it shares some similar creatures, you can breed chocobos and just the over all creativity within the series is heavy in this game, but its seriously just a majorly handicapped version of everquest or world of warcraft.
i enjoy playing a MMORPG occasionally, which is why i plan on starting on Phantasy Star Universe, but this FF game is seriously only good if you're looking for a retarded console version of everquest. video game stores won't even accept it as a trade in.
but yeah if you still want it just lemme know what shows you plan on going to and its yours, i won't expect anything in return, i just hate the idea of throwing it away if theres a slim possibility that someone else just might get some enjoyment out of it.

That was probably the worst one I have ever played. I mean the story was good and I liked how you could exchange characters during a battle, but that was about all it had going for it. Blitzball sucked and the lack of side quests sucked. While on the topic.....the card games from ffVIII and FFIX > blitzball

Yeah Blitzball blew out my ass, but that game got me into the FF series. I thouroughly enjoyed that game and played it through a good few time. The quests after the ending, like that secret cave were pretty damn tough. Especially that huge ancient thing that was fucking impossible. But I also enjoyed FFIII foe the DS as well, definitley spent the majority of my time in the Adirondacks and the car ride up to NY playing that.

I highly recommend you check out FFXII since you can get it for 20 bucks now. Also if you go on amazon.com you can get new copies from amazon themself of FFVIII, FFIX, and FF Anthology for the original PS1 all for 20 bucks....you can play them on PS2/PS3 but you need a PS1 memory card for saves if you play it on PS2.

Yeah, im talking about 12.
Its awesome because they took out random battles and you can see the enemies on the filed maps now. Also they have a license system for weapons and spells on this huge board, basically you exchange points on the board in order to unlock spells and weapons/armor for that particular character to be able to use. Its faster and more efficeint then the sphere grid. Plus there is alot of side stuff to do in the game.

i gotta change this from becoming a FF thread. what did everyone who plays xbox 360 think of LOST PLANET
i just saw the official announcement trailer for LOST PLANET 2 and it seriously looks like it could end up being the best shooter game ever made. not only does the MT-Framework 2.0 engine make a video game finally look like real fucking life, but anyone who played the online mode of the first Lost Planet can agree that its impossible to imagine how the game could really get any better.
