i didnt like it. controls were terrible really? thats why i hated gears of war. i never really had a problem with lost planet though. i'm beginning to think that with the invention of pressure sensitive buttons, alot of games really just come down to how certain people use the controller. like i can't play skate to save my life [except for the hall of meat haha] and i can't pwn anything at COD and i really just suck at games in general, but i find that i really enjoy alot of games that everyone just thinks sucks. maybe i just suck.

final fantasy sucked since FF7. anyone who disagrees can eat a cock. every game before it was epic as fuck and every game after it was lame as shit. *Eats a cock* 8, 9, and 12 were awesome. Also FF 3 in the DS rules too, also FF tactics.

Dear god I absolutley hated Lost Planet. That was the second game I had for the 360 (after Gears) and I could not stand it. I mean i liked the storymode a little bit but I just couldn't get into mulitplayer after playing Gears.
*Eats a cock as well* FF 8 was awesome, FF X was insane, and both the DS games ruled. I havent tried FF IV for the DS yet though.

Was anyone else a huge N64 fan when they were younger/still are? I grew up playing games like Snowboard Kids, Iggys Reckin Balls, SSB, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, MK, Re-Volt, Paper Mario, DK64, and countless others.

N64 was good for mario kart 64. it was seriously the only game i could even stand to play. Gamecube versions of n64 games made up for all of it but Nintendo didn't fully redeem their failure of the n64 until they came out with Animal Crossing for game cube.
you heard me right.
animal crossing.
i was engaged when my fiancee bought a game cube and made me start a town on that game so she could swap fruit and items with me. i soon became addicted on the most childish game i've ever played in my life. it was completely ridiculous, but after we split and i moved back home, i soon bought my own gamecube just to get my animal crossing fix.
i think soon i may buy a wii just so i can get my fix of the new one... or at least a DS or something.
btw street fighter 4 is seriously pissing me off. Zangief is nearly impossible to beat.

Animal Crossing owns, I dont care what anyone says. The only problem with the wii and DS is the online and the whole friend codes bullshit. Other then that they are fun systems that people constantly talk shit about. Speaking of nintendo....I cant wait for the DSi to come out, shit looks awesome.

I loved playing Animal Crossing DS. That game was fun especially going to others towns. I just got people codes over the internet on some random forum and would go to their towns. Thats how I got rich. People would give me plenty of bells.

yeah i'm def getting a DSi explain this friend code bullshit to me. Basically instead of having a buddy list type deal, you have to input friend codes in order to play with people. These codes are about as lengthy as those old school level passwords that you would recieve after beating a level in older games. Its bullshit.

Like if they turned their game off. so they actually have to be online and playing when you join? thats fucking gay. i miss the days of just putting your memory cards in the same game cube and riding the train to their memory card and stealing all their fruit and leaving a bunch of useless wallpaper laying in the housing area. haha

So is anyone a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei games like Persona? They are these epic RPGs made by Atlus. There is a whole slew of them. They are basically like a darker and more fucked up pokemon because you collect demons and other weird beings to fight with you. They have different series like the Digital Devil Saga, Nocturne, Persona, and Devil Summoner (this one plays kind of like devil may cry or dynasty warriors). They are on the PS1, PS2 (most of them are on this), SNES, and one coming out for the DS. I highly recommend them.

i always wanted to play the old shadowrun rpg [not the new one, totally unrelated] on SNES but never even met anyone who'd ever played it. i was told it was based off the same thing as Persona, which i also never got to play but always wanted to. i have been hoping they would re-release games like this on xbox live arcade.

Dynasty Warriors is a bad ass game.
Also, in relation, so are the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games.

dynasty warriors was bad ass when i played the first two... now that its in its third variation of the 6th game in the series [especially after following four different variations of each game as well as playing samurai warriors and its variations and even trying out the gundam version of the game]
you THINK they would come up with something to keep it from being more repetitive than tetris.
i played one of the sequels to ROT3K and it blew ass. hearing the same story of Lu Bu over and over and over again isn't amazing or anything.
Try TOO HUMAN. its really similar in the idea of fighting hundreds of enemies at a time but it throws in a deep combat system and an awesome RPG story with some of the best video game special effects i've ever seen.

but if you wanna talk about the most amazing game of all time in such a genre.
ZONE OF ENDERS, both of them.
if they release a sequel on PS3, i will buy a PS3 just to play it. no shit.

Lu Bu was so fucking hard to kill. in the first two you played as him. kinda ruined the rest of them when you take the main character and make him the boss of the game for the rest of the sequels.

That Warriors Orochi game (basically SW & DW characters in one game) is pretty badass, even though it's the same old thing.
